Golden Turmeric Hummus
A vibrant twist on classic hummus with golden turmeric. Creamy, flavorful, and packed with anti-inflammatory benefits. Perfect for dipping or spreading.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (400g each) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 teaspoons JJ Spices turmeric powder
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3-4 tablespoons ice water
- Pinch of black pepper
- Paprika and sesame seeds for garnish
Turmeric Amount: 2 teaspoons turmeric powder for 2 cups hummus
Instructions

Add tahini and lemon juice to a food processor. Blend for 1 minute until creamy.

Add olive oil, garlic, turmeric, cumin, salt, and pepper. Blend until combined.

Add chickpeas and blend for 2-3 minutes, scraping sides as needed.

With processor running, slowly add ice water until desired consistency is reached.

Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.

Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil.
